Cincinnati-based pianist & composer Tristan Eckerson is a true DIY artist who handles all aspects of the production of his music independently from recording, mixing, and mastering to artwork and cover art design. Well traveled both musically and geographically, he keeps himself busy with a steady creative output both under his own name and with a recently launched ambient project under the alias of Purple Decades. With several new singles already out this year, Eckerson will be offering up a new EP this month which sees him focused on creating a warmer and more multilayered sound to accompany his piano compositions through the addition of bass, synth arrangements, and foley.
