Starting with his first cassette recorder at the age of eight, Benoît Pioulard has been creating unique sonic environments that are rich with harmony, accented by field recordings and found sound. He has written and produced six full-lengths for the Portland, OR-based Kranky label, and has collaborated with the likes of Rafael Anton Irisarri (The Sight Below) and Dustin O’Halloran.
